Holidays are always a let down. You have dreams of endless partying and drinking, as well as endless days sitting around in the sun with friends just chilling. Of course you forget that alcohol costs money (which you have none of), its winter, and most of your friends have jobs including you (well kind of). So Holidays kind of tend to turn into finding the best way to kill time. My favourite ones are:

Watching whole seasons of TV shows on DVD
Reading all the unread books in my collection
ACMI
Job Hunting

Now I may sound like the biggest loser in the world for this but for my defence refer to the above reasons. Luckily my life will not suck this much for long as in exactly one weeks time I will be flying to good old Tassie for a Holiday. Yes thats right, a holiday in Tassie. What a strange concept hey? Can't wait to see all my old friends and catch up on the goss.

I just reread this and I want to say that I have been out quite a few times for the holdiays, but just not the amount I daydreamed about while trying to finish my assignments.

By the way if anyone happens to ever read this can they put a comment, even if it just says I suck. i just want to know how many of these things get read.
Why is it that moments of release are always delayed? Here I am thinking that I am moments away from successfully finishing my first semester of University when disaster strikes. Well maybe not disaster but certainly a hiccup and that just proves my point that stressful things never just end when they are meant to, they always find at least one way of holding off. You see being the broke film student that I am I currently have $7.65 till thursday and no food in the house, so I am not really in a state to spend money. So of course when it comes time to print off my final two assessments for the semester, before my six weeks holidays, I find that I have no printing credit left and am doomed to wait around school for possibly hours until I find an unsuspecting friend to steal credit from.
